Over the past three years, being behind a camera has become the main passion in my life. I grew up in Andover, MA and spent the time after high school living in Florida. From an early age, I have been propelled by a constant energy and curiosity about the great outdoors - to see places that others don't go and to experience life in a way that some might find too detached or simple. I have hiked, biked and ran all around the US to find purpose for my unending desire to explore nature. A few years back I picked up a digital camera to bring with me on trips and immediately felt awkward.

My husband Frank and I moved to Oregon one summer, which sparked a passion within me to go "into the wild" - to explore every distant beach, mountain and waterfall - to be totally immersed in life at its purest and simplest point and to share that experience, and the contentment it brings, with others though a camera lens.

With many photos, my goal is to pull people into places that are entirely untouched by the footprint of our modern world and all of its expectations - to bring a sense of calm and appreciation for the little things. For me, landscape photography has become a way to absorb all of the awesome, simple beauty of life and to bring it to others so that they can see life through a different space, in a simpler time.
